A community of living, performing and enjoyment, with the rise in automated computation we believe it is important to implement these new technologies in a way that will be both practical and efficient. Which is why the cube module is of interest to us. Not only is it a simple shape to prefabricate and distribute but it’s flexibility allows for itself to be manipulated in a pixelated way. By thinking in the form of pixels we will be able to create a form that is not only elegant but also environmentally efficient. Our goal is to create a system of habitable terraces that will open a community toward 9th street pedestrian mall, the soon to be All Aboard Florida and the rest of Downtown Miami. Seeing how art has become such an important aspect to the Wynwood District with art Basel and the Wynwood Art Walk, our terracing system will allow places for galleries, murals and art performances of all kinds. As well as provided an environment that is lush in vegetation and creates a microclimate that is pleasant to be in a pleasure to view from your balcony.
